WOWME Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 1, 2025

This Terms of Service agreement ("Terms") is a legally binding contract between you ("you" or "your") and WOWME ("we," "our," or "WOWME"), and governs your access to and use of our services, including our website, dress rental, try-on, subscription, and delivery services (together, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, including placing an order, browsing our product catalog, or engaging with any related service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.



1. General Conditions of Use

A. Eligibility You may use the Services if you are at least 18 years of age and reside within Croatia. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date at all times. We may request identity verification for specific items or high-value rentals.

B. Privacy Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Croatian data protection laws. By using our Services, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described.

C. Account To rent or reserve items, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and are liable for any activity through your account.



2. Description of Services

WOWME offers short-term rental of designer and premium dresses, including:

  • One-time event rentals
  • Try-on and fitting sessions
  • Subscription-based access (optional in later phases)
  • Professional cleaning of rented garments after use (included in rental fee)
  • Client Dress Rental Program, where clients may list their own dresses for rent via WOWME. We store, manage, clean, and rent out the item on their behalf under a separate agreement.
  • Dress Sourcing on Request: If a client requests a specific dress or designer item, WOWME may agree to purchase it on the client’s behalf (based on fit with our inventory strategy). Once purchased, the dress will be rented to the client at a pre-agreed price. The agreement becomes effective once both parties confirm the terms in writing. WOWME offers short-term rental of designer and premium dresses, including:
  • One-time event rentals
  • Try-on and fitting sessions
  • Subscription-based access (optional in later phases)

All items remain the property of WOWME at all times.

We offer delivery and return options via courier services or partner locations.



3. Orders, Payments & Cancellations

To place an order with WOWME, you must confirm item selection and make payment using an accepted method on our website or designated platform. At this stage of service development, orders are temporarily accepted via WOWME’s official WhatsApp or Instagram Direct Messages. Once the website becomes available, all future orders must be placed exclusively through the website, and social media channels will no longer be accepted for booking purposes. Orders are confirmed only once:

  • Item availability is verified by a WOWME team member;
  • Rental duration, delivery or try-on arrangements, and total pricing are agreed upon;
  • Full payment is received via a method confirmed by WOWME (bank transfer or approved processor).

Clients will receive an official confirmation message from WOWME outlining the order details, delivery/pick-up schedule, and any additional instructions. Orders will not be fulfilled without this confirmation.

Payment Processing: We use a secure third-party payment processor ("Payment Processor") to handle all transactions for our Services. By using WOWME, you authorize us and our Payment Processor to charge your selected payment method for all applicable rental fees, deposits (if required), and additional charges (such as late fees or damage compensation) in accordance with these Terms.

You are responsible for ensuring your payment details are accurate and up to date. If your card expires or your account changes, it is your obligation to update this information. If we are unable to charge your preferred payment method, WOWME reserves the right to:

  • Retry with a stored secondary method (if provided);
  • Suspend your order, delivery, or account;
  • Cancel pending or future orders;
  • Pursue recovery of unpaid fees through legal channels if necessary.

We do not accept prepaid cards for recurring payments. WOWME is not responsible for errors by the Payment Processor but retains the right to correct billing mistakes, even after payment has been processed.

Refundable Deposit (if applicable): Some items may require a refundable deposit, which will be communicated clearly before checkout. The deposit will be refunded in full to the original payment method, provided there is no damage, loss, or breach of these Terms. In case of medium or severe damage, WOWME reserves the right to deduct partial or full repair/replacement costs from the deposit. Refunds are processed within 7 business days of final item inspection.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 48+ hours before delivery date: Full refund of rental fee and deposit, if paid.
  • Less than 48 hours before scheduled delivery: 50% of the rental fee will be retained; deposit will be refunded.
  • After dispatch or no-show at fitting/collection: No refund of rental fee; deposit returned only if item is untouched and promptly returned.

Cancellations must be submitted via email to info.wowme.hr@gmail.com or via your WOWME customer account. WOWME reserves the right to deny cancellation or modify the refund terms if abuse of the system is suspected.

Charges will appear on your billing statement under the name WOWME or its Payment Processor partner.

  • Orders are confirmed upon full payment.
  • Some garments may require a refundable deposit.
  • Accepted payment methods are listed on our website.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 48+ hours before delivery: Full refund.
  • Less than 48 hours: 50% rental fee retained.


4. Delivery and Returns

WOWME offers multiple methods for dress delivery and return to ensure flexibility and customer convenience. These include:

  • Delivery by WOWME's dedicated courier service (available in Zagreb and selected nearby areas);
  • Delivery by third-party logistics partners;
  • In-person pickup and drop-off at approved WOWME partner locations, subject to prior reservation of an appointment.

All delivery and return options will be confirmed upon checkout or via direct communication. Clients are responsible for verifying delivery and return instructions.

Return Requirements: The rental item must be returned:

  • On or before the agreed due date;
  • Using the original WOWME garment bag or protective cover (provided during delivery);
  • Without any damage beyond normal wear, as defined in Section 6. Clients are responsible for avoiding visible stains, tears, or any modifications that would require repair or replacement.

If you cannot return the item on the agreed date, you must notify WOWME in writing at info.wowme.hr@gmail.com as soon as possible to request an extension. Extensions are not guaranteed and may incur additional charges.

Late Returns:

  • Late returns will incur a flat fee of €10 for each calendar day past the return deadline.
  • If the dress is not returned within five (5) calendar days of the agreed return date, WOWME reserves the right to consider it a non-return and charge the full retail value of the item.

Non-Return Policy: Failure to return the dress, or returning a different or unusable item, will be considered a breach of contract. In such cases:

  • The client will be invoiced for the full retail price of the dress as specified at booking.
  • Any security deposit on file may be applied toward this amount.
  • Legal recovery processes may be initiated in cases of intentional loss or fraud.

Clients are encouraged to retain proof of return (e.g. courier receipt, return form confirmation) until the return is confirmed by WOWME.

WOWME is not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers but will work with clients in good faith to resolve logistical issues.



5. Use of Garments

We at WOWME believe in mutual respect. While we are proud to offer you exclusive access to beautiful, premium-quality garments, we kindly ask that you treat them with care—as if they were your own.

By using our Services, you agree to:

  • Refrain from altering, hemming, washing, cutting, sewing, gluing, dyeing, or otherwise modifying the garment.
  • Avoid using adhesives (including fashion tape, body glue, safety pins, or any products that may leave marks, holes, or residue).
  • Protect garments from exposure to substances likely to cause permanent stains, such as makeup (foundation, lipstick), oils, perfumes, body lotions, deodorants, and food/beverages (e.g., wine).
  • Avoid smoking or use of strong fragrances while wearing WOWME garments, as they can leave persistent odors that require special treatment.
  • Not lend or sublet the item to others during the rental period.

We understand minor, removable adjustments (such as temporary waist clips, ribbons, or fashion tape) may be needed for fit or styling. These are acceptable only if they do not damage or alter the structure or appearance of the dress.

WOWME reserves the right to inspect all returns. If any damage beyond normal wear is found, repair or replacement charges may apply in accordance with Section 6.



6. Quality Checks, Damages & Client Responsibility

WOWME performs comprehensive condition checks before and after every rental. This includes:

  • A visual inspection of seams, stitching, fastenings, and embellishments;
  • Assessment of fabric condition (pilling, stretching, or thinning);
  • Detection of any stains or odors;
  • Functional checks on zippers, hooks, and other closures;
  • Clear, timestamped photographic documentation from multiple angles (front, back, close-up of any issues);
  • Optional video if fabric movement, drape, or detailing is relevant;
  • Completion of a physical checklist signed by WOWME staff.

Damage Classification & Consequences:

  • Minor Damage:
  • Includes: Loose threads, minor frays, wrinkles, lint, or snags on internal/non-visible parts (≤1 cm)
  • Action: No charge; documented for quality tracking
  • Responsibility: Treated as normal wear and tear
  • Medium Damage:
  • Includes: Visible makeup stains, minor food or drink spots, malfunctioning zipper, stretched straps, tears (1–3 cm), missing non-decorative button or hook, small snag or hole (>1 cm) on internal part
  • Action: Repair or cleaning fee between €30–50 may apply
  • Responsibility: Assessed on a case-by-case basis based on location, material, and visibility of damage
  • Severe Damage:
  • Includes: Irreversible or highly visible damage such as deep/large tears (>3 cm), tears on visible parts, burns, melted embellishments, bleach or dye stains, color fading due to misuse, permanent deformation of structure
  • Action: Full retail value of the garment is charged
  • Responsibility: Considered a violation of use conditions and results in garment being withdrawn from rental rotation Irreversible or highly visible damage such as burns, bleach marks, deep or large tears (>3 cm), fabric deformities, or melted embellishments – full retail value of the dress will be charged.

In each case of medium or severe damage, the client will:

  • Receive a formal damage report with supporting photographs;
  • Be notified via email and provided an opportunity to submit their comments or counter-evidence (e.g., photos taken upon delivery);
  • Be entitled to request independent evaluation by a third-party professional (tailor or cleaner) at their own expense.

Clients have 5 business days from the date of notice to respond before any invoicing is issued. WOWME will make a reasonable effort to review all evidence submitted and may adjust charges accordingly.

All damage cases are processed in accordance with WOWME’s standard damage policy and logged internally for audit and consistency.



7. Loss, Theft, or Misuse

Clients are fully responsible for the rented garment from the moment of receipt (whether by courier, in person, or partner location pickup) until the item is returned and confirmed received by WOWME.

In the event of:

  • Loss or Theft: If the rented item is lost, stolen, or otherwise not returned, and the client cannot provide proof of return, WOWME reserves the right to charge the full retail value of the item. This includes cases where the garment was left unattended, damaged beyond recognition, or not returned via the designated courier method.
  • Misuse: Any misuse that leads to irreparable damage or prevents future rental of the garment (e.g., unauthorized alterations, intentional staining, or failure to follow the care instructions) will also be treated as severe damage. In such cases, the client may be charged the full replacement cost in accordance with Section 6.

Clients are advised to:

  • Keep their return receipts or tracking confirmations until WOWME acknowledges the return;
  • Notify us immediately via email (info.wowme.hr@gmail.com) in case of accidental damage, suspected theft, or delay in returning the garment.

WOWME reserves the right to initiate legal action in cases of fraud, willful misconduct, or refusal to return rented property.



8. Liability Disclaimer

While WOWME is committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and garment quality, clients acknowledge that the use of rental garments carries inherent risks. Therefore, WOWME is not liable for:

  • Allergic Reactions: Some materials, dyes, or cleaning agents may cause skin or respiratory irritation. It is the client's responsibility to inquire about fabric composition before renting. WOWME does not guarantee hypoallergenic treatment of garments.
  • Personal Injuries or Accidents: Clients wear all items at their own risk. WOWME is not responsible for slips, trips, wardrobe malfunctions, or accidents related to fit, footwear pairing, or misuse of accessories provided with the dress.
  • Lost or Damaged Personal Belongings: WOWME assumes no responsibility for any personal items left in dress pockets, bags, or returned packaging. Clients are encouraged to check garments thoroughly before return. If a lost item is found, WOWME may attempt to contact the client but is under no obligation to store or return it.

Clients are advised to use reasonable care when selecting, wearing, and handling WOWME garments. For concerns about material sensitivity or special requirements, please contact info.wowme.hr@gmail.com before placing an order.



9. Promotions, Gifts, and Trial Offers

All promotional offers, gift cards, and trial programs provided by WOWME are limited in scope and time, and may be subject to specific conditions. By redeeming any offer, the client agrees to the following:

  • Promotional codes, discounts, and special offers are non-transferable and may only be used by the individual to whom they were issued.
  • Offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
  • Discounts or credits provided as part of a promotion are not redeemable for cash or any other form of payment.
  • Expired promotions cannot be extended or reissued.
  • Trial offers (e.g., first-time rental promotions or free fittings) are valid only for new users and may be limited to selected products or services.
  • WOWME reserves the right to suspend or revoke any promotion or offer in case of suspected abuse, fraud, or misuse.
  • Gift cards are only valid for rental services and cannot be refunded or used to purchase other gift cards.

Clients are advised to check the expiration date and conditions of each offer. WOWME is not obligated to retroactively apply any discount to completed bookings.



10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without regard to any conflict of law principles.

In the event of a dispute, WOWME encourages clients to first contact us in writing at info.wowme.hr@gmail.com in order to attempt to resolve the issue informally and amicably.

If no resolution is reached within 30 days of such notification, either party may submit the dispute to the competent Municipal or Commercial Court in Zagreb, Croatia, depending on the nature of the dispute. Clients acknowledge that WOWME will exercise its right to pursue legal claims, damages, or remedies for unpaid fees, unreturned garments, or breach of contract within the Croatian judicial system.

Clients also agree that by using our Services, they waive the right to initiate or join any class-action claim or collective proceeding against WOWME unless otherwise permitted under Croatian consumer protection law.
